Santa Eugenia is a quiet village in Mallorca known for its traditional architecture and agricultural landscape. Its foundation dates back to the Islamic period, when it was called the Alquería of Benibazari. By the 15th century, Santa Eugenia already had a small cluster of houses built around the historic Son Bosso, notable for its Arab-style construction, which, according to historical studies, was part of the earliest buildings of the Arab estate of Binibazari. Our house, Ca'n Gelat, is part of this first cluster of houses around Son Bosso, and we can confidently say that it is also one of the first constructions in the village, over 500 years old, now transformed into a unique retreat that combines the history of the place with contemporary comforts.
